How to Use

Beginning

When the app first comes up, this is what you see.  The red circle represents a blob of red paint.

To begin painting, move your finger across the paint blob as shown.

Fingerprint

To get a simulated fingerprint, tap on the paint blob where you want the fingerprint to go.

Reset

To start over, tap Reset. The App presents the question "Reset?" and two options, Yes and No.  Tap Yes.

Settings

To adjust the settings, tap on Settings.

Tapping on Settings brings up the Settings View.  The paint blob configuration currently selected is outlined in red. The finger size is indicated by the size of the fingerprint.

Premium Features

To select a different paint blob configuration, tap once on the one you want. It gets outlined in red. To change the colors of the paint blobs or the background, tap on the selected configuration.

In the color selection view that comes up from the Settings view, tap the paint blob you want to change the color of, then tap the color you want to change it to, or vice versa.

To change the background color, tap on the background portion of the configuration, then on the color you want to change the background to, or vice versa.

To go back to the Settings view, tap Settings.  To go back to the main view, tap Painting.

Save

To save your painting as a photo on your device, an attachment in an email or text, or as a finger painting you can bring back to the Finger-Painting app and continue working on, tap Save.

Tapping on Save will present you with the different options for saving.  Tap the one you want.

Tapping on Email brings up the email editor with a brief message and attached finger painting.  Add an email address to send it to, then tap Send.

Tapping on Text brings up the text message editor with a brief message and attached finger painting.  Add someone to send it to, then tap Send.

To view the finger paintings you have saved, tap Previous.

Tapping Previous brings up small versions of the pictures you have saved.  To bring off-screen pictures into view swipe up or down.  To select a picture, tap on it.

After you tap on a picture, you will be presented with the options to load it, delete it, or do nothing.  Tap Load Selected to bring the selected picture back into the app.
